The Super Team 33 collection from New Balance has consistently procured some of New Balance’s most forward thinking and liberal design styles. Always possessing a certain theme when going through the creation phase, the latest theme for the Super Team 33 series revolves around suits and their materials. According to New Balance Japan designer Hide Yamada, “Each component of the shoe is representative of various aspects of a classic men’s dress suit, including the rich materials and fabrics that represent both the actual suit and the accessories typically worn to create a sophisticated sense of style.” Get your Discount Tires here. realmadHECTIC x Mita x New Balance 13th MT580

Japanese streetwear giants realmadHECTIC and Mita sneakers team up to produce a set of New Balance MT580’s coming in two colorways. Keeping an earthy tone, both feature suede/leather uppers, crackled and splatter midsoles with the traditional New Balance stability and cushioning system that the company is well known for. The set will be exclusive to Mita, being produced in more limited quantities than projects before. The kicks are expected to drop August 30th 2008.

New Balance 2008-2009 Fall/Winter Collection

New Balance will be dropping some new items to their select Tier 0 accounts soon. Always on the edge of innovation with a wide variety of material usage and technology, New Balance uses some nice combination on various of their most popular models. New Balance Hanon Flying Club M670 Pack

Hanon-shop hooks up with New Balance to produce a new pair of running shoes with a classic aesthetic and customized material. The collaboration utilizes timeless and superior material that was used during World War II for flying suits due to its waterproof properties. The shoe design starts off with a vintage, instantly recognizable, old school New Balance silhouette. Hanon then adds superior Wolverine leathers, sueded pigskins, vintage bound mesh tongue and Ventile smart fabric application. The tongues of the shoes are accented with an airplane outline. Finally, the look is topped off with old school white laces. The kicks will come in two different eye catching colorways (black/yellow/red and gray/yellow/black) and has a tentative late August release date. The production run of 150 is very limited and carries a 74.95GBP price tag.

New Balance MT580 Gore-Tex CYMK Pack Samples

Here is a preview of the upcoming New Balance MT580 “CYMK” Pack. While we assume this pack is called the “CYMK” pack, we can only see three colorways in this picture - cyan, yellow and magenta. Even though you probably won’t be splashing these sneakers in the rain, the upper is partially composed of Gore-Tex material which might be helpful when you’re wearing these at a party and someone splashes drinks on your sneakers. No release dates have been released but look for these hot MT580’s to drop soon.

Staple Design x New Balance 575 “Pigeon”

The almost mythical pigeon derived from the minds over at Staple Design is set for a comeback, three years after its Nike SB Dunk Low’s release sparked wide-spread chaos and panic amidst the streets of New York. This time around, jeffstaple and crew look to New Balance’s trail runner the 575 as the cornerstone of their latest sneaker inspiration. In an in-depth interview with Sneaker Freaker, some pressing issues are featured including what reactions are expected out of the Nike camp as well as jeffstaple’s reasoning behind reliving some a historic shoe which he mentions changed the face of the sneaker world. For the shoe itself, the color placement is actually quite similar to the original SB Dunk including the pigeon-foot orange seen on the lining and sole. Also seen is a new embroidery on the heel featuring a flying pigeon to go alongside the original standing pigeon. Following up on Staple Design’s recent involvement with Lomo, a Pigeon-colored Lomo camera will also release. Singapore has already announced an August 6th release at Leftfoot Singapore and Le Vault.
